Completion Of The Proposed Placement Of 38,000,000 New Ordinary Shares In The Capital Of AEI Corporation Ltd.

The Board of Directors of AEI Corporation Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the placement of 38,000,000 new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company (the "New Shares") has been completed. The existing issued share capital of the Company increased from S$39,394,459.11 comprising 223,196,667 ordinary shares to S$46,568,859.11 comprising 261,196,667 ordinary shares.

The listing and quotation of the New Shares on the Official List of the SGX-ST is expected to take place on 17 July 2007.
